Squares in Variation Finale 方块块

ProjectSquares in Variation
PatternChameleon Scarf by Lorilee Beltman, Interweave Knits Spring 2008
Yarn: Odds and ends of Noro and hand dyed yarns
Yardage: A big bag
Needles: Size 6 and 8
Cast on: November 12, 2012
Cast off: December 16, 2012
Cost: estimate about $20, but leftover doesn't count, right?
Previous entries: Beginning, still going
Notes: This is a fun pattern. Casting on and knitting on five double points is surprisingly difficult and awkward. I liked knitting this scarf, but I'm also very glad it's finished, not to mention I barely had enough time to finish it before my son's school's winter break. I gave it to Ms. Anderson on Monday and Henry reported that she had been showing it to others at school this week. I'm very pleased.

Happy Friday! Join the party on Andrea's blogTami's blog, and leave me a comment!

ooooh, I love this scarf. I don't know if I'd have the patience to knit it but I adore how it looks. I agree, scraps don't count ;-)

That is one funky scarf, the colours are gorgeous, well done! Hmm, not a fan of working with five needles, four is quite enough to juggle with ;)

Very cool. Leftover Noro counts as free!

It turned out so pretty! The person who received this is very lucky. I'm not really a fan of Noro (they always add one color into each colorway that clashes horribly with the others), but I think that it looks great with this pattern. I can't wait to see what you have planned next!

I guarantee she will wear that with pride - it's really great! But I'm a big fan of squares. :) Not a big fan of *5* dpns though - give me the magic loop any day.
