Finally have a picture with Mary Ann! |
I had a hard time choosing what to buy as always. I had never seen this Plymouth Mushishi before, it's 95% wool, 5% silk, 491 yards, enough to make a little wrap. The yarn feels warm and lofty, and the silk gives it a nice texture.

ooooh, I love the colors of all those yarns. One day I would love to work in a yarn shop...or my own shop but a yarn shop would be heavenly.
What a wonderful day, I love going on fiber adventures and it was especially nice that you were able to reconnect with old friends too! Thanks for the tip on the yarn, it looks like I might need to pick up some of that.
Even though I haven't worked with it yet, I've eyed (and pawed) that Plymouth Mushishi for quite a while. Very jealous of your acquisition ... but glad you now have some to enjoy. :)
It also looks like it was a fun outing - excellent!
What a fun day! Looking forward to what your new yarn becomes. :-)
great colors in your yarn!
I love Cascade ... it's just about my favorite. And I have a skein of Manos del Uruguay. I MUST get one of those bowls!
How nice that you made a visit to help your friends celebrate 20 years in the 'yarn business'!
The Plymouth Mushishi looks beautiful!!
That purple Manos made me drool a little. Their colors are always so nice. I'm happy that you had a chance to catch up with old friends, we should all do it more. Give that Rascal some scritches and sniffs from me and LittleDog.
Lovely lovely yarn. I think working in a yarn shop would be heaven, but I would spend as much as I earned. Glad you had a nice time.
