Doggie Snuggle Finished

Finished the mitered squares doggie blanket for Dogs on Thursday Snuggle Project. This is one of my quickest knits, took only about two weeks. Trinket has been sampling it and says it feels fine.

Previous picture is here.

If you want to make something similar, a very good basic mitered square blanket pattern is here. I used two strands of worsted weight acrylic (or other combinations of yarn to get to similar weight) on size 11 needles. Each side is 24 stitches. When all the blocks are done I added a round of single crochet to pull it together. Finished size is about 3 feet X 4 feet.

The blanket will be donated to PugSavers.

Always nice to know that your work is quality tested by an actual dog ... although Trinket doesn't think he is a dog. lol

What a nice doggie blanket. It would have taken me a lot longer.

this came out really cute!!!! and it seems easier to knit than a huge one piece blanket.
